King Charles Honors 1,157 in New Year List

King Charles has announced a big list of people who are getting special awards for doing great things.

This list includes over 1,000 people from different areas like sports, arts, and community work.

Some famous names like actor Idris Elba, ice dancers Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, and the coach of the England women's football team, Sarina Wiegman, are getting special titles.

There are also many people from the world of cricket who are being honored, like Isa Guha, who was the first woman of South Asian descent to represent England in any sport.

These awards are given to people who have made a big difference in the UK.

The awards will be given to them later in 2026 at special ceremonies.
