Congress Leadership Tussle in Karnataka

There is a disagreement in the Congress party in Karnataka about who should be the next Chief Minister.

Two leaders, Siddaramaiah and D.K. Shivakumar, are both interested in the position.

The party's top leaders in Delhi will decide who will be the Chief Minister.

Mallikarjun Kharge, a senior leader, said that the confusion is happening at the local level, not at the high command level.

Both Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar have been told that they will be called to Delhi to discuss the issue.

They are waiting for the party's decision.

G Parameshwara, another senior leader, met Kharge and clarified that the issue should be resolved locally.

He also mentioned that the internal differences should not affect governance and administration.
