Justice Soumen Sen Appointed Chief Justice of Meghalaya HC
Justice Soumen Sen, who was the acting chief justice of the Calcutta High Court, has been appointed as the new chief justice of the Meghalaya High Court.
He started his legal career in January 1991 after enrolling as an advocate.
He was elevated to judge of the Calcutta High Court in April 2011.
The Supreme Court collegium recommended his appointment earlier this month.
