Hyderabad Police Book Jewellers Over Alleged Four-Kilogram Gold Fraud

Police in Hyderabad are investigating a complaint involving several jewellery businesses.

The complaint says gold ornaments were given to the businesses for sale.

The gold allegedly was not fully returned or paid for.

The total amount involved was nearly four kilograms.

One delivery had 32 ornaments, and another had 37 ornaments.

Police say only part of the value was settled.

Cases were filed alleging cheating and criminal breach of trust.
