NHL Winter Classic 2026: Panthers vs Rangers
The NHL Winter Classic is a big outdoor hockey game that happens every year.
In 2026, it will be played in Miami, Florida, for the first time ever.
The Florida Panthers, who have won the last two Stanley Cups, will play against the New York Rangers.
The game will be at LoanDepot Park, where the Miami Marlins play baseball.
The rink will have extra-thick ice to handle the warm weather.
You can watch it on TV or stream it online.
It's a special event because it's the first time the Winter Classic is in Florida, and it's also the southernmost Winter Classic ever.
The 2026 NHL Winter Classic will be held on January 2, 2026, at 8 PM ET at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida.
The Florida Panthers, two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, will host the New York Rangers, who are undefeated in five previous outdoor games.
This will be the first Winter Classic in Florida and the southernmost Winter Classic ever.
The game will be broadcast nationally on TNT and truTV in the US, with streaming available on Max (formerly HBO Max).
The rink will have 2.5-inch thick ice to accommodate Miami's warmer climate.
