The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, made several important decisions.

They approved filling around 7,500 job posts in different departments like education, police, and healthcare.

They also increased the salary of ASHA workers and improved medical education by raising stipends and introducing new courses.

Teachers who win national and state awards will get more money, but they won't be able to extend their service.

The Cabinet decided to build an All India Institute of Ayurveda and upgrade some health centers.

Students in government schools will get boiled eggs or fruits twice a week.

Fishermen will get help with boats, nets, and cold storage.

However, a plan to build a new city called Jathia Devi Mountain City faced opposition from local residents who didn't want to give up their land.
