MP Registers 95 FIRs Over Fertiliser Irregularities
In Madhya Pradesh, the state minister said that 95 police reports (FIRs) were made because of problems with giving fertiliser to farmers.
This is the most FIRs ever made in any state for this issue.
But even though these reports were made, farmers are still having a hard time getting fertiliser.
They have to wait in very long lines, and some places even had fights because there wasn't enough fertiliser.
The minister said there is no problem, but farmers and videos show that there is.
The minister also promised to look into the issue and give more information about help for farmers affected by a big water project.
Madhya Pradesh has registered 95 FIRs over fertiliser distribution irregularities, the highest in any state.
Farmers across multiple districts are facing acute fertiliser shortages and long waits at distribution centres.
State Minister Aidal Singh Kansana dismissed Congress allegations of fertiliser shortages as baseless.
Despite FIRs, on-ground issues persist, with farmers reporting delays and protests over fertiliser availability.
Kansana assured to check on the fertiliser delivery issues and provide details on compensation for the Ken-Betwa Link Project.
