Xi Jinping Arrives in US Ahead of High-Stakes Trump Summit

Chinese President Xi Jinping traveled to the United States for an important meeting with President Donald Trump.

Xi arrived at a US military airport near Washington.

Trump and Melania Trump greeted Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan.

The couples shook hands and spoke briefly.

The visit is planned to last three days.

It includes ceremonies and talks between the two countries.

Several American fighter jets were displayed during the welcome.

CNN, Fox News, and MS NOW did not show the arrival live.

This happened while a legal fight over some journalists’ access to the White House continues.
