Perplexity.ai Denies Airtel 'Pro Lite' Claims
Some people online said that Airtel users in India were getting a worse version of Perplexity Pro, an AI tool, than paying customers.
They thought it was slower and didn't work as well.
But Perplexity.ai said this isn't true.
They said Airtel users get the full, complete Pro version, just like everyone else.
This means they get all the same features, like advanced AI models and image generation.
Airtel offers Perplexity Pro for free to its 5G customers as a special deal, worth a lot of money each year.
Perplexity.ai refuted claims that Airtel users receive a 'Pro Lite' version of Perplexity Pro.
A viral Reddit post alleged the bundled service underperformed compared to paid and free versions.
The post claimed the Airtel-linked account responded slower and omitted features.
Perplexity.ai stated Airtel users get the same full benefits as paying subscribers.
Airtel offers the Perplexity Pro subscription, valued at ₹17,000 annually, to 5G plan customers.
