NJ Transit Resumes Rail Service After Storm
NJ Transit stopped all trains, buses, and light rail on Sunday because of a big snowstorm.
On Monday, most trains started running again, but a few lines are still closed.
The boss of NJ Transit said the cold weather is still causing problems.
They also asked cities to clear snow from bus stops to help buses run safely.
Some places got up to 17 inches of snow.
On Tuesday, they plan to run trains like they do on weekends.
The trains are important because they help people get to places like Manhattan.
NJ Transit resumed most rail services at 12 p.m. on Monday after a severe winter storm.
Gladstone Branch, Pascack Valley Line, and Princeton Dinky lines remain suspended.
CEO Kris Kolluri warned that cold weather continues to impact infrastructure.
Light rail and 85 bus routes resumed with delays on Monday morning.
Municipalities were urged to clear snow from bus shelters for safety and to restore more bus routes.
