India and UK Ink Trade Deal, Aiming for Economic Growth
India and the UK made a big deal to help each other trade.
This means it will be easier and cheaper to buy goods from each other.
Indian companies that make things like clothes and jewelry will find it easier to sell them in the UK.
At the same time, the UK will be able to sell their goods, like medical devices, in India at lower prices.
They also have a plan called "Vision 2035" to work together on things like technology and defense in the future.
The leaders talked about working for peace around the world and agreed that they both want to be allies.
India and the UK formally signed a comprehensive economic and trade agreement (CETA).
The agreement aims to boost bilateral trade by approximately £25 billion annually.
The pact will provide better market access for Indian goods and lower prices for British products.
The leaders also established "Vision 2035" to expand ties in defense, technology, and clean energy.
Discussions covered global issues including the Indo-Pacific, Ukraine conflict, and West Asia.
