Citi Enters Luxury Credit Card Market with Strata Elite
Citi has released a new credit card called the Strata Elite Card to try and win over customers who like luxury cards.
It costs $595 a year but has benefits that could be worth a lot more.
You can earn points when you spend money on things like hotels, travel, and restaurants.
You also get credits for hotels and other purchases.
This is not the first time Citi has tried this, as they had a card called Citi Prestige before, but now they face tough competition from cards like the Amex Platinum and Chase Sapphire Reserve.
Citigroup launched the Strata Elite Card to compete in the luxury credit card market.
The card has an annual fee of $595, offering potential value of nearly $1,500.
Rewards include points for spending, especially on travel, dining, and car rentals.
The card provides a $300 hotel credit and a $200 "splurge" credit.
Citi previously offered the Citi Prestige card, but it lost competitiveness.
