PMC to Upgrade 75 Municipal Schools
The Pune Municipal Corporation is going to make big improvements to 75 of its schools.
They will fix classrooms, add better lighting, paint educational walls, improve seating, provide clean drinking water, renovate toilets, and add equipment for online learning.
This is part of their Model School project.
The PMC has around 250 schools with about 1 lakh students and 1,800 teachers.
While this upgrade is good, experts say it's also important to have good teachers and principals.
They hope all schools get these improvements, not just a few, and that the work is finished on time.
