Hinjawadi Residents Plan Protest Over Traffic, Roads And Water

People living in Hinjawadi, Maan and Marunji say their area has serious traffic, road and water problems.

They plan to hold a peaceful protest on 6 September 2026.

Residents, farmers, IT workers and welfare groups are joining it.

They want potholes repaired and temporary traffic controls added quickly.

They also want roads widened and Metro Line 3 opened as soon as possible.

The residents are asking for a reliable supply of drinking water from Mulshi Dam.

They want the government to consider creating a separate municipal corporation for the area.

If officials do not make clear plans, residents may increase their protests in stages.
