Indian Open of Surfing Set for Swells and Competition
The Indian Open of Surfing is about to happen!
It's like a surfing contest where people show off their skills.
This year it's at Tannirbhavi Eco Beach.
Surfers will face big waves, up to 12 feet tall!
Weather might make it tricky.
Smaller contests have been held to find new surfers.
This event is part of a bigger series to find the best surfers in the country.
The NMPA Indian Open of Surfing (IOS) will take place at Tannirbhavi Eco Beach.
The event is organized by Surfing Swami Foundation and Mantra Surf Club.
Wave heights are predicted to reach 10 to 12 feet during the competition.
