Foundation Laid for SAMARTH Skill Centre in Hyderabad
A new center called SAMARTH is being built in Hyderabad to help people learn important skills in DNA and health technology.
The center will train people to be ready for jobs in these fields.
At the same time, a special place called iDeaNA is helping new companies with cool ideas, like a natural sweetener for diabetes and things to help with skin problems.
The minister who started these projects said India wants to make sure everyone can get the help they need for rare diseases.
The new center and the special place for new companies will help India become better at science and health care.
Dr Jitendra Singh laid the foundation stone for the SAMARTH Skill Development Centre in Hyderabad.
The centre aims to address skill gaps in forensic DNA profiling and molecular diagnostics.
SAMARTH will provide structured training, certification, and outreach programs.
The iDeaNA–BRIC-CDFD Technology Incubator has already nurtured 12 startups and facilitated five market-ready products.
The initiatives align with India's vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 and Atmanirbhar Bharat, focusing on skill development and equitable access to technology.
