J&K Mandates Secure Digital Platforms for Government
The Jammu and Kashmir government is making changes to keep its online information safe.
They are telling all departments to stop using websites that aren't official.
Instead, they must use ones ending in .gov.in or .jk.gov.in.
This is to prevent hacking and data theft.
Also, everyone must use official government email addresses.
The government is also banning old or pirated software.
Departments have 15 days to make these changes.
J&K government departments are ordered to deactivate official websites hosted on private domains.
Departments must use secure government domains such as '.gov.in' or '.jk.gov.in'.
All officials must use NIC-provided government email IDs for official communications.
The use of pirated or obsolete software, including unlicensed office suites or design tools, must cease.
Departments must submit compliance reports within 15 days.
