Eight PSU Stocks Offer Dividend Yields Above Five Percent

Some government-owned companies in India may pay investors regular dividends.

A dividend is money a company gives to its shareholders.

A SBI Securities report listed eight PSU stocks with estimated dividend yields above 5% for FY26.

PTC India had the highest listed yield at 7.70%.

Hindustan Petroleum and Coal India followed with yields of 6.70% and 6.60%.

Other companies on the list included REC, ONGC, Bharat Petroleum, Balmer Lawrie Investments, and MSTC.

A higher dividend yield can look attractive to investors seeking income.

However, the companies had different share-price results and profitability figures.

The article does not say that these yields or returns are guaranteed.
