Marico Q3 Update Shows Demand Recovery
Marico, the company that makes Parachute and Saffola, shared its update for the third quarter of the financial year 2026.
They said that their sales in India grew a lot compared to last year, and they expect things to get even better soon.
Some of their products, like Parachute, did well even though costs went up.
Others, like Saffola Oils, had a slower quarter.
Their international business also did really well, especially in countries like Bangladesh and Vietnam.
The company is happy because the price of copra, a key ingredient, has gone down a lot, which will help them make more money.
Their stock price has been going up too, which is good news for investors.
Marico's India business reported high single-digit volume growth and high twenties revenue growth YoY in Q3 FY26.
Parachute showed resilience despite input cost increases and pricing actions, while Saffola Oils had a muted quarter.
Value Added Hair Oils and premium personal care brands performed well, with the latter scaling ahead of expectations.
International business grew by 20% in constant currency, led by Bangladesh, Vietnam, and South Africa.
Copra prices have corrected by 30% from peak levels, expected to improve gross margins sequentially.
