NRI in UK Says AI and Taxes Killed Work Motivation

NRI in UK Says AI and Taxes Killed Work Motivation

A technology worker moved from India to the UK five years ago.

They now say their job feels boring because artificial intelligence does much of the work.

They mostly attend meetings and tell AI what tasks to complete.

They miss working on exciting projects and spending time with friendly colleagues in Bangalore.

They also feel that cold weather, high taxes and expensive living costs make life harder.

The worker has permanent residency but still feels unhappy.

Some people online said returning to India would not automatically solve the problem.

They suggested therapy, exercise, travel, socialising and building something meaningful.
