TT Limited Doubling Garment Capacity as Costs Weigh on Profit

TT Limited Doubling Garment Capacity as Costs Weigh on Profit

TT Limited is a company that makes clothes and textiles.

It has a garment factory in Howrah where clothes are stitched.

The company plans to double the number of sewing machines at that factory, from about 150 to around 300.

It wants to make more clothes and grow its business.

Recently, making clothes became more expensive.

Cotton and yarn prices went up, and the cost of packaging materials rose a lot.

Because of this, the company did not earn as much profit as it expected.

It still made decent sales of about Rs 46.42 crore in three months.

The company found new big customers, such as D'Mart and the Canteen Stores Department.

It hopes that costs will become more stable and demand will grow, so its profits will improve.
