Rahane: No debate, let Rohit play till 2027 World Cup
Ajinkya Rahane is a famous cricketer who played for India.
He just announced he is done playing international cricket.
After that, he talked about his teammate Rohit Sharma.
Rohit is one of India's best cricket players.
Some people have been arguing about what Rohit should do in one-day cricket.
They wonder if he should play safe, play more aggressively, or stop playing one-day matches.
That argument got bigger after Rohit scored a century at Lord's, a famous ground in London.
Rahane says the argument should end right now.
He thinks Rohit should definitely be in India's team for the 2027 Cricket World Cup.
Rahane believes Rohit has been amazing for many years and India needs his experience.
Days after announcing his international retirement, Ajinkya Rahane said Rohit Sharma must play the 2027 ODI World Cup.
Rahane told The Indian Express there should be 'no discussions' over Rohit's place in India's ODI plans.
He called Rohit's contribution over several years 'amazing' and said India needs such experience at a World Cup.
Rohit's century at Lord's last month reopened debate over whether he should anchor, be freed to attack, or be moved on.
Rahane argued the team 'can't look at it series by series' because Rohit is such a big player.
