Mohan Bhagwat's US, UK, Canada Tour to Counter India Propaganda
Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the RSS, plans to visit the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
RSS leaders say the trip will explain their views about India, Hindus and the RSS.
They also want to correct what they describe as misunderstandings and propaganda.
Bhagwat will attend events in New York, Toronto and London.
The RSS says he will share the idea that the whole world is one family.
He will also discuss the interests of Hindus and people of Indian origin living in those countries.
The announcement came after a large RSS meeting near Visakhapatnam.
At that meeting, members also discussed disaster relief, skills training, the environment, families and artificial intelligence.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is expected to visit the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom during the organisation’s centenary year.
RSS Joint General Secretary C.R. Mukund said the tour aims to address misconceptions and propaganda about India, Hindus and the RSS.
Bhagwat is scheduled to attend a “Universal Oneness” program in New York and community leadership events in Toronto and London.
The RSS said the visit will promote “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” and support dialogue on the interests of Hindus and people of Indian origin abroad.
An RSS coordination meeting also reviewed disaster relief, skill training, environmental conservation, family values and the social impact of artificial intelligence.
