UP Assembly Passes Bills Including Legislators' Salary Hike
The Uttar Pradesh government made two big decisions.
They passed a law about the Banke Bihari Temple, which some people disagreed with.
They also decided to pay the people who make the laws (MLAs and MLCs) and the ministers more money.
The ministers will get more money each month, and the MLAs/MLCs also receive a raise.
This was decided by a committee, and the raises will cost the government a lot of money.
