Sudan's PM Proposes Peace Plan Amid Ongoing War
There's a big fight happening in Sudan between the government's army and a group called the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The fighting started in April 2023 and has been going on for nearly 1,000 days.
It has caused a lot of people to die and many more to leave their homes.
The prime minister of Sudan, Kamil Idris, has proposed a plan to end the war.
His plan includes a ceasefire, monitored by the UN, African Union, and Arab League, and the withdrawal of the RSF from the areas they control.
The RSF would then be placed in supervised camps and disarmed.
The United States and other countries, like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE, are also pushing for a temporary truce to help people in need.
However, the RSF is unlikely to support the prime minister's plan because it would mean giving up their military power.
The war has been very bad, with over 40,000 people killed and more than 14 million displaced.
The prime minister and the US are urging everyone to support the peace plan to end the suffering.

The plan includes a ceasefire monitored by the UN, African Union, and Arab League, and the withdrawal of RSF forces to supervised camps for disarmament.
The US and international mediators, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE (Quad), are pushing for an immediate humanitarian truce.
