New Zealand Recognizes Indian Qualifications, Eases Visa Process
New Zealand is making it easier for people from India to study and work there.
Starting in June, Indian degrees from certain schools won't need to go through a special check that used to cost money and take a long time.
This change is because New Zealand wants more skilled workers and students from around the world.
Now, Indian graduates will find it easier to get jobs in fields like computers and healthcare.
It also means things will be cheaper and faster for Indian students and workers who want to go to New Zealand.
New Zealand adds India to its List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment (LQEA) starting June 23rd.
This means certain Indian qualifications no longer require an International Qualification Assessment (IQA).
The IQA previously cost $746 and took 8-12 weeks to process.
Indian 3-year bachelor's degrees from recognized universities are now accepted.
This policy aims to increase skilled migrants and student participation in New Zealand.
