AP Collectors Highlight Youth Initiatives
On the second day of a big meeting for district leaders in Visakhapatnam, two collectors shared their success stories.
One talked about a program called NIRMAN that helps young people with their careers.
The other talked about a program called Mustabu that teaches students to wash their hands and comb their hair before going to school.
This has helped students and their families stay cleaner.
The Chief Minister liked the Mustabu idea so much that he said it should be used in all schools in the state.
This will help almost 79 lakh students and their families stay healthier.
Additionally, in Vijayawada, the NTR collector opened a science exhibition where students showed off their projects on topics like sustainable agriculture and green energy.
The collector said these exhibitions help kids learn to think creatively and solve problems.
Everyone agreed that such events are important for the future of science and the country.
ASR Collector A.S. Dinesh Kumar discussed NIRMAN and Margadarshi initiatives for youth career development.
Parvathipuram Manyam Collector N. Prabhakar Reddy presented the Mustabu program for improving student hygiene.
Mustabu requires students to wash hands and comb hair before entering school, improving family hygiene as well.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu praised the Mustabu program and announced its statewide implementation, impacting 79 lakh students and 2 crore family members.
