Somireddy Challenges Jagan’s Proposed Meeting With Andhra Governor

Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy questioned why Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to meet the Andhra Pradesh Governor.

The dispute is about claims of unfairness in hiring teachers.

Somireddy said the YSRC first spoke about 16,400 teacher jobs and later focused on sports-quota appointments.

He said 372 people were hired through that quota.

He also said 252 of them received their sports certificates when Jagan or his father was chief minister.

Somireddy defended the current coalition government’s teacher hiring and planned recruitment.

He asked Jagan to discuss issues inside the Legislative Assembly instead of protesting on the streets.

He also said Jagan should ask about cases involving alleged disproportionate assets and a liquor scam.
