Efforts Intensify to Resolve Kottalacheruvu Land Disputes of Four Decades
Imagine a village where people have been arguing about who owns which piece of land for a very, very long time, like 40 years!
Now, the head of the area, the District Collector, is trying to fix this big problem.
She sent special teams to measure the land again, like drawing new maps to make sure everyone knows what land belongs to them.
This will help farmers easily get help from the government for their crops.
The Collector also gave new houses to 56 families who needed them.
A local leader thanked the Collector for helping the village people finally get clear ownership of their land.
District Collector G Rajakumari is leading efforts to resolve land disputes in Kottalacheruvu Gudem that have persisted for four decades.
Special resurvey teams are deployed to expedite the land measurement process for 393.78 acres.
The resurvey aims to grant permanent land ownership rights and facilitate access to government schemes for farmers.
Housing documents were distributed to 56 Chenchu tribal families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Plans are in motion to construct approach roads to farmlands and address the land needs of tribal families who migrated from Pechcharugu Gudem.
