Karnataka 108 Ambulance Staff Threaten Mass Exit Over Pay

Karnataka 108 Ambulance Staff Threaten Mass Exit Over Pay

Workers who operate Karnataka’s 108 ambulance service are unhappy with their pay and working conditions.

They have asked the government to address several demands.

These include increasing salaries and giving all staff equal pay.

They also want pay levels to reflect how long someone has worked.

Another demand is that salaries arrive by the seventh day of every month.

The workers’ association warned that employees could resign together.

It also said the protest would become stronger if the government does not decide clearly on the demands.

R Sridhar, the association’s president, announced the warning.
