DU Lets 11 Colleges Admit Students Using Class 12 Marks
Eleven colleges at the University of Delhi have received special permission for some courses.
They can admit students using their Class 12 marks instead of CUET UG scores.
This is only allowed for certain programmes.
The colleges had seats left empty after regular CUET-based admissions.
Some students apply first but later leave because the college is too far away.
Others may dislike the location or the areas around the college.
The relaxation gives these colleges another way to fill their seats.
It does not apply to every programme or every DU college.
Eleven University of Delhi colleges may admit undergraduate students using Class 12 marks instead of CUET UG scores.
The relaxation applies only to selected programmes at the colleges.
The colleges reportedly could not fill all allotted seats through CUET UG scores.
Some students initially apply but later withdraw because of distance, location, or surrounding areas.
The admission adjustment is intended to address unfilled seats at the affected colleges.
