Haryana unveils ambitious Yamuna revival plan with 18 new STPs

Haryana is working to clean up the Yamuna River.

The state will build 18 new sewage treatment plants that can clean a lot of water.

It will also set up 12 new plants to treat waste from factories.

Six biogas plants will turn dairy waste into useful energy.

The plan also aims to fix 61 ponds, with 11 already fixed, and improve how cities handle trash.

The whole project will cost about 932 crore rupees.

It is part of a bigger effort to keep the river clean and healthy for people and wildlife.
