Amit Shah to Address Parliament on Delhi Student Protest Crackdown

Students in Delhi got hurt when the police broke up their protest, and now the country's leaders are talking about it.

The students were marching toward Parliament on July 20.

Some of the protesters were injured at a place called Jantar Mantar.

Opposition leaders want Home Minister Amit Shah to explain what happened.

They stood outside Parliament holding posters that said, "Amit Shah, give us an answer."

On Monday, both houses of Parliament were paused because of constant shouting.

The government said it is ready to talk about the students' protests in the Lok Sabha.

Amit Shah is expected to speak about the student protests on Tuesday.

The government also plans to discuss bills to rename Kerala and to help cooperative societies get funding faster.
