Pentagon Says Hasan's Fort Hood Execution Will Be Livestreamed
The Pentagon says people will be able to watch Nidal Malik Hasan's planned execution online.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said it is set for Dec.
3 at Fort Hood.
Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people and wounding 32 others there in 2009.
The Pentagon says the execution would be carried out by firing squad.
Hegseth said the military has not used a firing squad to execute a servicemember since World War II.
The last military execution was in 1961, when an Army private was hanged.
Experts on military law say Hasan may ask a civilian court to review his case.
That could delay the execution.
