DRDO Unveils New Missiles and AI Advancements in Defence
India's defense organization, DRDO, is working on new weapons to protect the country.
They are developing a new missile called MP-ATGM that can be carried by a small team and hits targets far away.
Another missile, Astra-2, which can hit targets even farther, is being tested to be used with India's own fighter jet, Tejas.
There's also a new short-range defense system, VSHORAD, to protect soldiers from attacks.
Also, all DRDO labs are getting smart with AI, which will help them work faster and better.
DRDO is developing new missile systems, including the MP-ATGM and Astra-2.
The MP-ATGM is a portable missile system with a range exceeding 3 km.
Astra-2, with a 150-160 km range, is undergoing trials for use with the Tejas fighter.
VSHORAD, a short-range air defense system, is in final stages of development.
All DRDO labs are now AI-enabled to facilitate faster work.
