Rahul Gandhi Launches Bihar Campaign Amidst INDIA Bloc Manifesto Release
A big politician named Rahul Gandhi has started campaigning for his team, called the INDIA bloc, in Bihar.
He will hold rallies in two districts, Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga.
His campaign starts a week before people in Bihar start voting.
Rahul Gandhi is working with another important leader from his team, Tejashwi Yadav, who wants to be the chief minister.
They are holding joint meetings to encourage voters.
This campaign is important because the INDIA bloc recently shared their plan, called a manifesto, which includes promises like giving jobs to families and free electricity.
However, the other main political group, the NDA, says this plan is not true.
Other leaders from the NDA, like the Prime Minister, are also campaigning.
The voting in Bihar will happen over a few days in November.
Rahul Gandhi launched his campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections on October 29.
His initial rallies were held in Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga districts, ahead of the November 6 first-phase polling.
Gandhi held joint rallies with Tejashwi Yadav, the INDIA bloc's Chief Ministerial candidate.
The INDIA bloc released its manifesto promising one government job per family, restoration of the old pension scheme, and 200 units of free electricity.
The NDA government has dismissed the INDIA bloc's manifesto as 'a bundle of lies' and has already deployed top leaders for campaigning.
