Norrie Stuns World Number One Alcaraz at Paris Masters
A tennis player named Cameron Norrie, who is ranked 31st in the world, surprisingly beat the number one player, Carlos Alcaraz.
Carlos made a lot of mistakes during the match, which helped Cameron win.
This loss was a big deal because Carlos had won his last 17 big matches in a row.
Because of this loss, another player, Jannik Sinner, might become the new number one player if he wins the tournament.
Cameron Norrie said this was the biggest win of his career.
He will now play in the next round.
Cameron Norrie defeated World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the second round of the Paris Masters.
Alcaraz committed numerous unforced errors throughout the match, particularly in the second and third sets.
Norrie described the victory as potentially the biggest of his career, his first against a world number one.
The defeat could see Alcaraz lose his world number one ranking if Jannik Sinner wins the Paris Masters.
Alcaraz, returning from an ankle injury, expressed disappointment with his level of play despite winning the first set.
