Gayatri Pariwar Expands Raksha Bandhan Social Pledge Campaign Globally
A group called Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwar is using Raksha Bandhan to share messages about helping society.
It has sent more than 10 lakh cards to 12 states and several countries.
The cards ask young people to respect and keep women safe.
They also encourage people to stay away from drugs.
The messages say substance abuse can harm health, character and family peace.
The cards ask people to plant and care for trees.
The campaign started on July 1.
This is the first year it has been conducted across many states and abroad.
Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwar has launched a Raksha Bandhan campaign promoting women’s safety, de-addiction and environmental protection.
More than 10 lakh resolution cards have been dispatched across 12 states, including Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
The cards have also been sent to Australia, the United States, Canada and Nepal.
The messages urge brothers to respect and protect every girl and woman, not only their own sisters.
The campaign began on July 1 and will continue until the day before Raksha Bandhan, expanding beyond its earlier focus on Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh.
