Andhra Pradesh Urdu Academy Celebrates 50 Years
The Andhra Pradesh Urdu Academy is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a week-long festival called 'Surur-e-Urdu Mahotsav' from December 16 to 20.
The minister for law and minority welfare, N. Md.
Farooq, announced this event, highlighting the Chief Minister's support for the Urdu language.
The festival will start with the Chief Minister releasing a special brochure.
The Academy is also focusing on improving its libraries and computer centres and supporting the development of minorities, including skill development and job opportunities in technology.
The chairman of the Academy, Mohammed Farooq Shubli, encouraged all employees to work hard and treat the Academy's challenges as their own.
He also mentioned that the government is committed to helping minorities and will be inspecting the Academy's facilities over the next 90 days.
