BJP Demands Apology from Revanth Reddy
The leader of the BJP in Telangana, P V N Madhav, is very upset because the Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, made comments about Hindu gods that many people found disrespectful.
Madhav and other BJP leaders, like Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, think these comments hurt the feelings of Hindus and show that the Congress party doesn't respect Hindu beliefs.
They want Revanth Reddy to say he's sorry publicly.
Revanth Reddy made these comments while talking about how hard it is to get everyone in the Congress party to agree on things, comparing it to the many different Hindu gods.
The BJP says this is part of a bigger problem where Congress doesn't treat Hindus fairly, and they are asking Hindus to stand together and show their strength.
BJP state president P V N Madhav demands a public apology from Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for alleged derogatory remarks about Hindu deities.
Revanth Reddy's comments were made in the context of discussing the diversity of opinions within the Congress party, comparing it to the variety of Hindu deities.
Union Minister Bandi Sanjay strongly condemns the remarks, accusing Congress of having a deep-rooted hatred towards Hindus and aligning with the Majlis.
The BJP views the remarks as a validation of their earlier warnings about the dangers of Congress and BRS winning the Jubilee Hills by-election.
