Chandigarh Housing Board to Launch Revised Housing Plan in Sector 53
The Chandigarh Housing Board is creating new homes in Sector 53.
They're changing the prices because the government updated the rules for land value.
A lot of people want these homes, as shown by a survey with thousands of applicants.
The cost of the homes has increased.
For example, a bigger, three-bedroom house will cost a lot more than initially planned.
Smaller homes will also cost more.
It's all because of the new rules about how land is valued.
Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) is set to launch a revised residential plan in Sector 53.
The plan's pricing has been adjusted due to new collector rates implemented on April 1.
The demand survey for the scheme received 7,468 applications.
A three-bedroom HIG flat is estimated at Rs 2.3 crore, up from Rs 1.65 crore.
Prices for MIG and EWS units have also increased.
