Top Doctor Rates Weight Loss Trends

Top Doctor Rates Weight Loss Trends

A top obesity doctor, Dr. Spencer Nadolsky, recently shared his ratings on popular weight loss trends.

He gave fat burners a zero, saying they don't work, and low-carb and keto diets a two, meaning they're not as effective as people think.

He rated protein powder a four, which is a bit better, but still not great.

Fasted cardio also got a two.

However, he gave walking and weight training a seven, showing that simple, consistent exercise is much better for losing weight and keeping it off.

The biggest surprise was when he gave a new medicine called Tirzepatide a ten, meaning it's very effective, but it should only be used with a doctor's help.

Another expert, Dr. Jagadish Hiremath, explained that sustainable weight loss comes from long-term habits like walking and weight training, not from quick fixes like restrictive diets or supplements.

He also said that supplements should only be used to fill specific needs, not as a main weight loss strategy.

For the best results, people should focus on good nutrition, sleep, and regular physical activity.
