Modi Targets Opposition as Western Freight Corridor Is Completed
‘Naraz Fufa’, ‘Jhooth ki Goonj’: PM Modi targets Opposition at Gujarat freight corridor inauguration · telegraphindia.com

India has finished building its Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, a special railway route for goods trains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened important sections of it in Gujarat.

The route connects Jawaharlal Nehru Port near Mumbai with Dadri in Uttar Pradesh.

Goods trains can use this route instead of sharing tracks with passenger trains.

Modi said this will help cargo move faster and cost less.

He also said farmers can send fruits, vegetables and flowers to markets more quickly.

During his speech, Modi criticized the Opposition and Rahul Gandhi’s campaign against the government.

He compared constant critics to a grumpy uncle and called some political claims an “echo of lies.”

He also spoke about jobs, renewable energy, manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
