High Court questions Yadadri temple tender extension, orders representations considered

The High Court examined a dispute about a temple tender at Yadadri.

A licence had reportedly been extended for three years.

The court questioned this because an earlier tender was still active.

The court also questioned references to a local MLA in official correspondence.

After the hearing, the Endowments Commissioner’s office withdrew the extension letter.

The court said tender decisions belong to the Endowments Commissioner and the temple’s Executive Officer.

It did not decide how the tender process should be conducted.

Instead, it ordered the authorities to consider the petitioner’s representations according to law.
