Bike Ambulances Deployed for Ashadi Ekadashi Pilgrimage
Imagine people are walking a long way for a big religious event, and the government wants to help if someone gets sick.
They're using special motorcycles called bike ambulances.
These bikes can quickly reach people who need help, especially where it's crowded or hard to get to.
The bikes have things like first aid kits and oxygen, and a trained person on the bike helps the person until a bigger ambulance arrives.
These bike ambulances will be along the walking routes to make sure people are safe.
The State Health Ministry is deploying bike ambulances for the upcoming Ashadi Ekadashi pilgrimage.
The ambulances will be stationed along the routes to Pandharpur.
Bike ambulances are motorcycles equipped with medical equipment for emergencies.
They offer quicker access in traffic and difficult terrains compared to regular ambulances.
The ambulances are staffed by trained paramedics who provide initial medical care.
