MMRDA Floats Tender For 164-Metre FOB At Gundavali Metro Station

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority wants to build a pedestrian bridge near Gundavali Metro station.

The bridge will cross the Western Express Highway.

It will help people safely reach bus stops, taxi stands, shops and nearby roads.

The bridge will be 164 metres long.

It will have stairs, a lift and an escalator.

Cameras will help provide security.

Construction is expected to take 12 months.

MMRDA says the bridge should help reduce crowding and traffic around the station.
