Navi Mumbai Police Arrest Foreigners for Illegal Stay
The police in Navi Mumbai found six people, mostly from Nigeria, living in the city without the right papers.
They started checking homes early on Friday morning.
The police also found that the people renting the houses to these foreigners did not follow the rules.
The foreigners will have to leave India, and the house owners might get in trouble for not doing what the government asked.
Navi Mumbai Police conducted raids in Kharghar, detaining six foreigners without valid visas.
Five of the detained are Nigerian nationals, and one nationality is unspecified.
Two house owners were booked for not submitting the mandatory 'C-Form' for renting to foreigners.
