Ahmedabad Customs Seizes Rs 35.5 Lakh Gold from Dubai Passenger
A woman who flew from Dubai to Ahmedabad had a lot of gold jewellery on her.
Customs officers at the airport checked her because they had a list of people to watch.
They found the gold and took it away.
The gold was worth about 35.5 lakh rupees.
The incident was reported by the customs office.
Customs officials seized gold jewellery worth Rs 35.49 lakh from a woman passenger.
The passenger arrived at Ahmedabad airport from Dubai on Flight No. EK-538.
Interception was based on passenger profiling by the Ahmedabad Customs Air Intelligence Unit.
The seizure occurred on Thursday, July 30, 2024.
