Jalgaon Man Arrested in Alleged ₹2.14 Crore Cyber Fraud

Police in Jalgaon arrested a man named K.B. Sankhala.

They say he helped criminals use other people’s bank accounts to move stolen money.

These accounts are often called mule accounts.

Police linked the money to fake investments, fake jobs and digital-arrest scams.

They say about ₹2.14 crore moved through the accounts.

Sankhala allegedly paid or persuaded people to open current accounts and then passed them to an associate.

Police say he received ₹40,000 for each account.

Investigators are now trying to find the alleged mastermind and other helpers.

Police advised people not to share bank details or OTPs with anyone.
