Preparations Begin for Flamingo Festival 2026
The Flamingo Festival is an annual event held near Pulicat Lake.
The officials in Tirupati have started planning for the 2026 festival.
They want to make it bigger and better by working together and making detailed plans.
They will decide on the dates, activities, and places for the festival.
They also want to make a video to tell everyone about the festival.
Many important people, like the District Collector and forest officers, are involved in making this happen.
District Collector Dr S Venkateswar directed officials to begin immediate preparations for the Flamingo Festival 2026.
A review meeting was held at the Tirupati Collectorate with Forest and Tourism officials.
Officials were instructed to prepare a detailed micro plan, finalize festival dates, outline programs, assess tourism facilities, and plan venues.
